Recipe

Well what a long time since I've been here.

Been managing without much of my cooking equipment for the last few months - two abortive house sales yet and we are still here and lots of my stuff is in storage!

Anyway = there are some basics that have seen us through. The basic White Cake recipe has been doing us proud. I've been adding in different fruits as available, which accross Christmas and New Year meant a lot of Cranberry Cake has been eaten. A small loaf tin made on Christmas morning and eaten very fresh from the oven for breakfast :-)

We've also been eating lots of No-knead Bread made with the mix from The Watermill at Little Salkeld, near Penrith in Cumbria (will find link and edit it in later :-) )which was just down the road from where The Mother camp was held back in August.

And today - well I need to do something with a couple of pineapples that have been sat on the side for a couple of weeks and are now extremely ripe - yum! So maybe another cake a bit later and then the rest as lovely fruit through the day. But who knows.
